What Corridor is

Corridor is a local marketplace that connects customers in Union, NJ with independent local service providers. Corridor helps match requests and facilitates communication — it is not the provider of the underlying service, and is not a party to the agreement between a customer and provider.

Providers are independent businesses

Providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Corridor. They set their own prices, may accept or decline any job, and may offer services outside the platform. Corridor does not supervise or direct how a provider performs a job.

Trust levels and verification

Corridor displays a provider's trust level and any verified credentials (ID, license, insurance) based on documents an admin has reviewed. A trust level or verification badge reflects only what has been verified as of the date shown — it is not a guarantee of the quality or safety of a specific job.

Payments

Corridor does not process payments between customers and providers today. Price and payment method are agreed directly between customer and provider. Corridor is not responsible for disputes over payment, pricing, or the quality of work performed.

Requests and matching

Submitting a request does not guarantee a match. An admin reviews and manually matches requests with approved providers based on category, location, and availability. Providers may quote, negotiate, or decline a request at their discretion.

Account conduct

Accounts are for genuine customers and providers. Misrepresenting identity, qualifications, or the nature of a request or service is grounds for suspension.
